role overview:
we are looking for a bold, energetic, and passionate field sales professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is driven by targets and results. the primary objective of this role is to grow our ecommerce india export pipeline by identifying and onboarding new manufacturers, exporters, and d2c brands across major export hubs and industrial clusters in india.
key responsibilities:
- drive new business development:
- identify, connect with, and onboard new exporters, manufacturers, and brands in deep export pockets across india (tier 1, 2 & 3 cities).
- lead generation & prospecting:
- actively network and hunt for new business opportunities by physically visiting trade hubs, industrial areas, export councils, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- customer engagement:
- engage with prospective ecommerce exporters to understand their pain points and offer tailored cross-border logistics and fulfilment solutions (air, ocean, last mile, warehousing, etc.).
- sales pipeline management:
- build, manage, and convert a healthy pipeline of qualified leads to signed customers, with clear kpis and targets for onboarding and revenue generation.
- collaboration with internal teams:
- work closely with operations, customer service, and product teams to ensure seamless onboarding and shipment execution for new accounts.
- market intelligence:
- stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to proactively develop sales strategies.
reporting:
maintain accurate sales reports, funnel tracking, and regular updates to senior management on progress and challenges.
