job summary:

we are seeking a skilled qa engineer with domain expertise in hospitality and payment systems to join our fast-paced team. the ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing web (react + java), mobile applications, and backend services, ensuring seamless guest experiences and secure, reliable payment flows.

key responsibilities:

understand functional and technical requirements of hospitality and payment-related features.

design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for:

web ui (react)

backend apis (java/spring boot)

mobile apps (android/ios)

validate integrations with payment gateways, pos systems, and third-party services.

perform regression, functional, integration, and uat testing.

create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.

collaborate with developers, product managers, and other qa team members in agile ceremonies.

identify, report, and track bugs using tools like jira.

conduct performance testing of apis and critical payment paths.

ensure compliance with pci-dss and security standards for payment data.

contribute to ci/cd pipelines with test automation integration.

required skills & experience:

proven qa experience with hospitality systems (e.g., reservation, dining, in-room services) and payment flows.

proficient in manual testing and automation tools like selenium, cypress, or playwright.

strong api testing knowledge using postman, restassured, or similar tools.

experience testing mobile applications using appium or native device testing frameworks.

familiarity with java, react, and restful services.

knowledge of database queries (sql) and validating backend data integrity.

experience with test management tools (testrail, zephyr).

understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and devops.

good analytical and communication skills.

preferred:

exposure to pos systems, wallet integrations, and multi-currency environments.

familiarity with tools like jmeter, grafana, sentry, new relic, or firebase for performance and mobile monitoring.

istqb or other qa certifications.
