technical/ functional skills

experience in large scale sqlserver cloud migrations

5+ year experience with sqlserver

experience migrating databases to rds and ec2

ability to enhance, develop and follow database migration runbooks

an understanding of security controls from a service delivery viewpoint

experience working in a regulated/prod environment

experience working with mission critical environments

ability to approach problems in a thorough and logical manner

ability to be self driven in the migration and operate with autonomy

experience working with aws platforms and services

ability to write t-sql commands

the following skills would be advantages:

experience working with aws managed services (ams)

scripting in languages such as: powershell, python

migrating ssxs to rds sqlserver will be advantagous

writing automation scripts
