role overview:
we are seeking a dynamic content strategist to drive content ideation, strategy, planning, and execution across digital, offline, and experiential platforms. this role is crucial to enhancing our brand storytelling, customer engagement, and seo/sem performance, while staying true to interflora's premium and emotive brand identity.
key responsibilities:
content strategy & planning:
- own the end-to-end content calendar for the brand - across website, email, social media, campaigns, packaging, and more.
- develop multi-channel content strategies that align with seasonal campaigns, product launches, and business goals.
- define tone of voice guidelines and ensure consistency across all brand communications.
- work closely with the design, digital marketing, crm, and product teams to craft compelling narratives.
copywriting & editorial:
- write, edit, and oversee high-quality content for digital (web, seo blogs, social, newsletters), print (catalogues, inserts), and retail experiences (store signage, gifting cards).
- craft emotionally resonant and conversion-optimized copy in line with interflora's luxury positioning.
- build storytelling frameworks for campaigns, influencer collaborations, and brand partnerships.
performance & optimization:
- work with seo, performance marketing, and analytics teams to drive measurable content performance.
- use data insights to iterate content formats, headlines, and channels for better engagement and roi.
- conduct regular audits to ensure content relevance, freshness, and technical compliance (seo best practices).
requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in content strategy, brand writing, or editorial roles-ideally in premium/lifestyle/e-commerce/d2c brands.
- strong portfolio of content that demonstrates brand storytelling, digital fluency, and strategic thinking.
- proven track record of managing content calendars and cross-functional execution.
- familiarity with tools like google analytics, semrush/ahrefs, content management systems (cms), and project management tools (asana, trello, etc.).
- excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
- creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a bias for quality.
- prior team management or leadership experience is a plus.
bonus points for:
- experience in luxury, gifting, floral, or lifestyle industries.
- understanding of visual storytelling and creative briefing for photo/video production.
