responsibilities:

• lead and develop data science solutions to solve complex business solutions
• formulate business problems to data science problems
• work cross functionally with business and engineering teams to drive data science initiatives
• define right quality metrics for ml models and optimize them
• mentor and provide feedback to team members

qualifications:

• bachelor or above in computer/electrical engineering, mathematics, economics or in a quantitative field with research bent of mind and have a minimum of 5+ years of experience
• sound understanding of modern machine learning techniques, mathematical underpinnings, and experienced in using different machine learning frameworks (sci-kit-learn, keras, tf spark, mllib etc)
• experience in using distributed computing platforms
• strong programming skills (preferably in python, scala, etc)
• experience in driving large scale machine learning learning problems end to end
