what you'll do
deployment support
- shadow senior deployment engineers during planning calls, site surveys and full deployment cycle.
- assist with deployment prep and checklist upkeep.
installation & setup
- help mount robots, route cables, and position sensors on site.
- perform basic wiring continuity checks with a multimeter and record results.
testing & validation
- execute scripted validation routines; log pass/fail data and calibration values.
- capture photos, wiring diagrams, and ip tables for "as-built" documentation.
go-live support & troubleshooting
- monitor deployment dashboards on day 1, flagging anomalies for the lead engineer.
- record issues raised by operators and track resolutions in real time.
feedback loop & documentation
- draft concise field reports highlighting bugs, feature requests, and lessons learned.
- update quick-start guides and "cheat sheets" for client operators.
training assistance
- help run basic operator training sessions under mentor supervision.
- summarize common faqs and troubleshooting tips for the client team.
what you'll be working with
- robot interfaces & dashboards: fleet manager, calibration utilities
- debugging tools: multimeters (daily), oscilloscopes or logic analyzers (with guidance)
- software utilities: ssh, linux networking commands, simple bash/python scripts
- collaboration platforms: google workspace
- optional / bonus exposure: git workflows, plc field-bus interfaces, introductory docker commands
who we are looking for!
- 2nd - 4th-year b.e./b.tech student (computer science, electronics, mechatronics, or related).
- foundational understanding of sensors, motors, and basic control loops.
- comfortable using hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
- clear communicator, meticulous note-taker, and eager problem-solver.
- willing to travel frequently and work in dynamic industrial settings.
nice-to-have extras
- college/club projects with arduino, raspberry pi, frc, robocup, etc.
- exposure to git, docker basics, plc programming, or simple scripting (bash/python).
internship details
- duration: 2 months
- location: primarily at client sites across visakhapatnam
- stipend: competitive monthly stipend plus per-diem for field days
- mentorship: paired one-on-one with a deployment engineer
