halma company volk optical inc. () is a premier designer and us manufacturer of the highest quality portable ophthalmic cameras, lenses, surgical systems and accessories used in diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the eye.

volk optical:

position objective

the digital marketing specialist is a hands-on role responsible for managing digital marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement globally. this individual will own our digital platforms, including social media, digital advertising, email campaigns, and website optimization. they will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to execute marketing strategies and enhance digital presence.

responsibilities

• work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maximize the roi of all earned, owned, and paid media.
• creation, implementation, and continual optimization of the company's digital advertising campaigns (google ads, linkedin etc.) in line with marketing strategy and budget.
• optimization of the company website, developing user experience and content where required, whilst driving seo and sem.
• management of company social media channels including content planning, scheduling, and posting, plus community management, a/b testing, monitoring, and reporting on performance.
• owning the content schedule/posting of the company blog with ongoing seo enhancement.
• creation, implementation, and evaluation of the company's e-blast campaigns.
• report on monthly digital advertising and social media performance against targets, ensuring optimization of channels and spend.
• liaise with the marketing communications manager, product managers and graphic designers to ensure clear direction as part of campaign set-up.
• keep relevant stakeholders including the sales team up to speed with campaign status, engaging with key internal customers and hosting training where necessary.
• report on wider campaign results i.e. lead generation from promotions and url tracking.
• undertake competitor research and identify new digital opportunities where applicable.

academic qualification

experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a digital marketing role, preferably in the healthcare or medical devices industry.
