roles & responsibilities:
- lead 1-2 large systems supporting specific business domain.
- be able to oversee 2-5 manager/senior managers and the subsystems and processes under them.
- in collaboration with t&e integration management office(s), this role is accountable for the planning and execution of the technical aspects of integration programs and related business objectives.
- coordinate with the senior it leadership and their teams on priorities, scope, requirements and change management of the program and each project that is part of the technical roadmap.
- manage all program/project associates across the cross functional delivery teams.
- ensure that the program and all projects that are part of the roadmap are achieving their targets, escalating risks, resolving issues, communicating effectively, and making decisions in support of the program vision.
- ensure that interdependencies are identified and managed between work streams. ensure that developed products have low coupling and high cohesion and fit together into a holistic approach and strategy.
- select and implement the appropriate technical solutions and approach required to support requirements of the technical integration.
- ensure that each project deliverable meets operational and security requirements.
- identify and manage in accordance with performance and management metrics that track progress against schedule and cost baselines.
- validate financial forecasts and provide ongoing reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures.
experience required:
- 12-14 years of large-scale application development (full stack / mobile) or application design experience
- proven experience with successfully implementing cross functional technology and engineering programs for large retail companies.
- broad expertise and program and project management background with both traditional and product-based delivery models.
- broad expertise in enterprise-wide technical transformation roadmaps and program execution with 5 - 10+ years of experience.
- broad expertise and 4+ years of experience in overall technology and engineering leadership role overseeing large scale retail programs. experience in fulfillment, supply chain areas would be considered a big plus
- solid communication (written, verbal, and presentation), negotiation, persuasion, and relationship skills along with high personal integrity, credibility, and energy at all levels of the organization.
- demonstrated ability to analyze, define, and solve business problems, develop business cases, and advise senior business leaders on managing risks.
- broad expertise of relevant business, information, and technology aspects of a grocery retail enterprise.
- minimum 4+ years of experience with cloud platform services and application development using microsoft azure or gcp or aws. experience using github co-pilot or
- similar tools that help improve the team productivity would be a big plus
- experience in tdd (test driven development) methodology, unit testing with tools like junit/testng and test automation frameworks such as selenium/playwright/cucumber/res-assured/karate
