roles/responsibilities

• perform end-to-end etl testing, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• write and execute complex sql queries to validate data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
• design and implement query surge test cases for automated data validation and reconciliation.
• collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand data requirements and workflows.
• identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• conduct performance testing for etl pipelines to optimize data processing.
• prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• generate comprehensive test reports and provide insights to stakeholders.

must have:

• etl testing: hands-on experience with etl tools (e.g., informatica, talend, ssis).
• sql expertise: proficiency in writing complex sql queries, joins, aggregations, and subqueries.
• query surge: strong knowledge of query surge for automated data testing and validation.
• data warehousing: understanding of data warehouse concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and data modeling.
• testing tools: familiarity with tools like jira, selenium, or other test management platforms.
• problem-solving: analytical mindset to troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies.
• communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
