role description
we are inviting freelance full stack and mern stack developers to work with us on real-world web applications. this is a remote, paid opportunity offering exposure to live projects and collaboration with a dedicated engineering team. developers will work on and other associated client platforms.
qualifications
- strong foundation in javascript, html, and css
- experience or familiarity with node.js and express.js
- knowledge of mongodb
- basic experience with java for backend (a plus, not mandatory)
- understanding of restful apis, asynchronous programming, and data flows
- comfortable using postman for api testing
- basic proficiency with git and github
- strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- a github profile or personal portfolio is highly preferred
key responsibilities
- develop responsive web applications using javascript, html, and css
- build and maintain backend services with node.js, express.js, and optionally java
- design and manage mongodb databases
- integrate and test restful apis using tools like postman
- collaborate with team members to plan, develop, and deploy features
- write clean, maintainable code following best practices and version control with git/github
- participate in code reviews and contribute to ongoing improvements
