role overview:
we are looking for a passionate and hands-on full stack developer (mern stack) with a strong foundation in either frontend or backend (minimum 70:30 split). you'll be part of a high-energy startup environment, working closely with product and design teams to bring powerful, user-friendly applications to life.
key responsibilities:
- architect, design, and develop end-to-end applications using mongodb, express.js, react.js, and node.js.
- build scalable and high-performance systems from scratch.
- use ai-assisted development tools (e.g., github copilot, cursor, etc.) to improve productivity and code quality.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices.
- optimize applications for maximum speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
- troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
requirements:
- minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in full stack development with the mern stack.
- proven experience in building and scaling products from scratch.
- comfortable working with 70:30 distribution in frontend: backend or vice versa.
- proficiency in using modern dev tools and ai-assisted programming platforms.
- experience in high-growth startup environments is highly preferred.
- strong understanding of rest apis, microservices, git, ci/cd pipelines, and cloud deployment.
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- engineering degree from a reputed institute is a plus.
nice to have:
- exposure to containerization (docker, kubernetes).
- familiarity with serverless architecture and nosql best practices.
- contribution to open-source or personal tech blogs/projects.
