they are looking for a skilled software engineer to join their backend team and help build scalable services that directly power fun, engaging experiences for millions of players across the globe.

as part of this role, you'll have the chance to collaborate closely with product managers, artists, game designers, and engineers in a creative and high-impact environment.

what you'll be doing:

• design and build new backend services and maintain existing apis and infrastructure
• work in a fast-paced environment serving millions of daily users
• write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• collaborate cross-functionally with production, design, and other technical teams
• contribute to the development of current and upcoming game titles

what we're looking for:

• 5 years of professional software development experience
• bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field
• strong hands-on experience with golang and docker
• solid understanding of aws services (lambda, s3, ecs, ec2, fargate)
• familiarity with node.js, vuejs, and nextjs
• strong problem-solving skills, communication, and a collaborative mindset
• a sense of ownership and accountability

bonus points if you have:

• experience with game jams, modding, or personal projects related to game development
• a passion for gaming and building community-driven platforms
