role overview:
we're looking for a passionate mern stack developer with 1-2 years of hands-on experience to join our mohali office. you'll work closely with our product and design teams to architect, build, and maintain high-performance web applications.
what you'll do:
- develop and maintain full-stack web applications using mongodb, express.js, react.js, and node.js
- translate ui/ux designs into responsive, interactive web interfaces
- build and consume restful apis and integrate third-party services
- write clean, modular, and efficient code with proper documentation
- optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
- troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
what we're looking for:
- 1-2 years of professional experience with the mern stack
- strong proficiency in javascript (es6+), html5, and css3
- hands-on experience with mongodb schema design and aggregation pipelines
- familiarity with express.js middleware, routing, and authentication
- solid understanding of react.js concepts: hooks, context, component lifecycle
- experience with node.js event-driven architecture and rest api design
- knowledge of version control (git) and collaborative workflows
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- good communication skills and ability to work in a team
nice-to-have:
- experience with typescript
- exposure to ci/cd pipelines and devops tools
- familiarity with testing frameworks (jest, mocha)
- understanding of agile/scrum methodologies
