roles and responsibilities:

• planning, design and implementation of voice and data communication networks
• network monitoring/management, including monitoring and baselining of the network status
• ensuring active network operation (on-call duty) and ensuring high availability (switching, routing, wlan, security, cloud)
• detection and elimination of bottlenecks (bandwidths, number of ports, kpis, )
• implementation and operation of the given security policy
• development and implementation of processes to ensure the compliance of the network configuration.
• evaluating, testing, planning, and operating new network technologies and integrating them into the existing infrastructure

qualifications:

• successfully completed studies in computer science / communications engineering or comparable qualification
• several years of professional experience in the field of network operation (noc)
• deep knowledge of common network technologies (routing, switching, security, sd-wan/lan, vpn, wlan, voip, qos, nat)
• knowledge of working with products from renowned network suppliers (cisco, hp, fortinet)
• knowledge of network analysis and troubleshooting (baselining, monitoring, protocol analysis) as well as knowledge of network security (802.1x, nac, micro segmentation)
• good programming knowledge (devnet, python, ansible, terraform) as well as deep cloud knowledge (aws, azure)
• ideally certifications (ccnp, ccdp)
• team orientation, independent working style and complex problem-solving skills
• communication and conflict resolution skills as well as flexibility
• business fluent in english
