responsibilities:
collaborate: work closely with cross-functional teams (architect, development, product management, operations, devops) to gain an in-depth understanding of requirements, architecture, designs (high and low level), and implementation. collaborate with development teams during sprints to build test cases and automation (functional ui and api) for developed features.
automation development: design, develop, and maintain automated tests and scripts for owned modules. innovate to enhance, simplify, and streamline qa automation processes.
manual & automated qa testing: perform hands-on functional, integration, regression, security, and performance testing and take full ownership of module-level test coverage.
bug tracking: identify, log, and track software defects while working closely with developers.
test documentation: write detailed, clear, and concise test cases and documentation of test results.
test environment management: set up, maintain, and troubleshoot test environments, including databases and servers.
test metrics and reporting: provide regular updates on test progress, coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
requirements:
0.6 to 2 years of work experience in
software quality assurance and strong understanding of functional test automation
hands-on automation test development experience with
javascript
strong knowledge of software qa methodologies, tools, and processes
experience with
cypress - must-have
experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive
test plans and test cases
experience working in an
agile/scrum development process
education:
