about the role
we are seeking an experienced laravel developer to join our team. this role is focused heavily on backend development using laravel, with some interaction with the frontend team working in vue.js. you will be responsible for all laravel and php-related code and will collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration, deployment, and migration. this is a hybrid position. your first month with be in the office 4 days out of the week. afterwards the office will be optional and used on occasion for meetings and some projects. this will become mainly a remote position

- excellent english communication skills - written and spoken.

- 5-6 years of deep, hands-on experience with laravel - you must be a true laravel expert.
- 3-4 years experience with mysql - able to design, query, and optimize relational databases.
- strong understanding of laravel fundamentals, including: eloquent, migrations, middleware, routing, artisan
- ability to work effectively with vue.js developers - you should understand how the frontend and backend interact and be able to coordinate with vue.js developers to deliver features.
- 1-2 years of linux experience - able to perform basic server management tasks.
- proficient with git via command line - you should know how to clone, branch, merge, resolve conflicts, and push/pull using the terminal.
what you'll be doing
- building and maintaining laravel-based applications
- writing and maintaining mysql queries and database structures
- coordinating with vue.js developers to integrate frontend and backend components
- performing basic linux server tasks (e.g., logs, restarts, config edits)
- managing code via git using command-line tools

- experience with docker
- familiarity with aws services (e.g., ec2, rds, s3)
- some experience or interest in python
pay: 1,500,000.00 - 2,000,000.00 per year
