what's the scope of this role?

you'll play a pivotal role in architecting and optimizing cutting-edge network solutions for both corporate and customer environments. your expertise will drive the automation of innovative services, enhancing the quality and efficiency of our it offerings.

in this role, you'll collaborate closely with diverse it teams, including those in remote offices, to design, configure, and support robust network infrastructures. your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring seamless connectivity and superior performance across our global operations.


  • monitor all team members and provide necessary advice and guidance.
  • delegate duties, tasks, review completed tasks.
  • coach all team members and motivate them to produce desired results.
  • configuration, maintenance and support of network solutions in offices, data centers and external projects of the company.
  • configuration and maintenance on network equipment cisco, juniper, hpe, d-link, dell, fortinet, f5, kemp.
  • communication with projects teams.
  • taking part in customer faced\external projects.
  • optimization of network infrastructure.
  • documentation of network topologies and changes.
  • troubleshooting of networking issues, root cause analysis.
  • preparation and coordination of technical tasks, maintenance of project documentation.


what skills and experience will you need for this role?


experience:

  • at least 9 to 16 years of it network related experience.


required skills:

  • strong working knowledge in switching and routing domains: stp, vlan, ipv6, lacp, stacking, vrf, pbr, gre, hsrp, secured vti, ospf, bgp (ibgp, ebgp), evpn (vxlan).
  • hands on experience in cisco asa\firepower\ftd, fortinet\web, cisco enterprise\data center switches, cisco router isr\asr, cisco wlc\ap, juniper ex\qfx\srx, mx, fortinet\f5\kemp load balancer, cisco\juniper\fortinet\f5 virtual appliance.
  • knowledge of the principles of operation and configuration data center spine-and-leaf architecture.
  • comprehensive hands-on skills in configuration and troubleshooting of networking environment.
  • knowledge of bash, python, go scripting, etc.
  • ability to lead, direct and control team members.
  • responsible and self-motivating attitude.
  • high educability and systems thinking.
  • some travel is required (domestic & international).


will be of advantage:


  • knowledge of bash, python, go scripting, etc.
  • good/advanced level of nix operating systems.
  • be able to identify bottlenecks and issue troubleshooting in linux (cpu/ram/os parameters/network/disk etc.).
  • knowledge of cloud/virtualization technologies: kvm, openstack, esxi.
  • knowledge of containerization (docker/kubernetes).
  • configuration management (cm) ansible.
  • version control system (vcs) git.
  • infrastructure as a code (iaac) terraform.
  • ci/cd software (jenkins/gitlab ci).
  • a self-developed example of documents: presentations, description of the solution architecture, technical tasks, other technical/project/operational documents.


education & certification:

  • bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
  • ccnp/ jncip r&s holder or equivalent level of knowledge required.
