• hyper-v infrastructure management: design, implement, configure, and manage microsoft hyper-v hosts and virtual machines.
• virtual machine management: create, configure, clone, migrate, and manage virtual machines, templates, and snapshots.
• storage management: configure and manage storage solutions for the hyper-v environment, including local storage, san/nas, and storage spaces direct (s2d).
• capacity planning: analyze resource utilization and plan for future capacity needs of the virtualized environment.
• patch management and updates: apply updates, patches, and security fixes to hyper-v hosts and related components.
• troubleshooting and support: diagnose and resolve issues related to the hyper-v infrastructure and virtual machines.
• automation: develop and implement powershell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks related to hyper-v.
• integration with other microsoft technologies: ensure seamless integration of hyper-v with other microsoft technologies, such as system center virtual machine manager (scvmm), active directory, and windows server.
• hands-on experience with configuring and managing hyper-v hosts and virtual machines in a production environment.
• strong understanding of windows server operating systems and active directory.
• keep abreast of the latest microsoft virtualization technologies and best practices.
• solid understanding of networking principles and virtual networking concepts.
• experience with powershell scripting for automation of hyper-v tasks.
