we're seeking a senior backend mobile developer to lead backend architecture, optimize cloud-based services, and integrate ai-powered tools into our mobile platform. you'll work alongside a global product and engineering team to bring new ideas to life.
responsibilities
as a senior backend mobile developer, you will:
- lead backend development for mobile apps, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
- design & develop restful apis and graphql endpoints for seamless frontend/backend communication.
- build & maintain scalable infrastructure using aws (lambda, s3, api gateway, postgresql).
- integrate ai-powered tools for intelligent moderation, personalization, and automation.
- optimize storage, databases, and serverless compute environments.
- monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system uptime.
- collaborate with frontend, product, and ai teams.
- write clean, well-documented, scalable code.
- utilize ai coding assistants like github copilot, chatgpt, or amazon codewhisperer for efficient development.
requirements
must-have:
- 5+ years in backend/mobile api development.
- strong aws expertise: lambda, s3, api gateway, rds/postgresql.
- proficient in node.js or python (fastapi preferred).
- skilled in databases: postgresql, mongodb, sqlalchemy, migrations.
- api development experience with rest or graphql.
- excellent cloud debugging & performance tuning skills.
- hands-on experience with ai code generation tools (e.g., copilot, chatgpt, cody).
- self-driven and productive in remote work settings.
- experience integrating flutter with backend systems.
- familiarity with ai/ml deployment.
- knowledge of devops tools (terraform, jenkins, github actions).
- strong technical writing and documentation skills.
