neudesic, an ibm company is currently seeking a solution architect for our digital platforms service line. this role requires the perfect mix of being a brilliant technologist and a having a deep appreciation for how technology drives business value. you will have broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to architect solutions by mapping client business problems to end-to-end technology solutions. demonstrated ability to engage senior level technology decision makers in application architecture, cloud modernization and continuous delivery is a must. this role is a key enabler for neudesic's account executives and client partners as you jointly pursue opportunities to bring neudesic's services to market.

in this role, you will drive neudesic's market expansion by working closely with a local sales and delivery unit. you will focus on leveraging your deep technical background in software architecture, software design, software engineering, and the software development process to pursue sales opportunities, lead delivery teams and write code. some projects will lean heavily on your ability to consume and understand existing large multi-vendor on-premise and cloud architectures and consolidate them down to a coherent go-forward strategy for the client.

while your day-to-day activities are not exclusively writing code, you must possess the ability to write software and relate concepts to your team and client stakeholders alike. you will leverage your practical experience in developing large, complex business solutions and team with highly skilled technologists from around the world to ensure flawless service delivery. with your strong background in a diverse set of technologies you will assess which ones are most applicable in solving the real-world business problems of the present and the future.

to be successful, you will exhibit strong leadership qualities necessary for building trust with clients and our technologists. you will partner with solution architects and the directors on the neudesic team to drive client success by providing practical guidance, architectures, solutions, and project estimates based on your years of experience in software development. you will partner with a diverse sales unit to professionally represent neudesic experience and ability to drive business results. finally, you will mentor consultants in our service line along their career path as they report to you, looking for support and guidance.

technical experience:

• senior-level expertise with .net core/asp.net core
• experience with large-scale applications in a leadership role
• experience with presales, rfp's and sow's creations
• senior-level web services using web api, restful services, and wcf services
• senior-level expertise in c#
• senior-level experience in angular/react + typescript.
• broad experience with .net framework 3.0-4.7
• strong experience with sql server
• strong experience with azure cloud
• managing azure logic apps, functions, azure service bus
• experience with azure paas
• experience with azure cloud, docker, kubernetes, customize and red hat openshift
• experience in migrating pivotal cloud foundry applications to aks/aro (azure red hat openshift)
• experience in creating kubernetes cluster (aks) and deploying containerized applications on azure cloud.
• experience with scalable architectures using container orchestration (docker, kubernetes, openshift and aks). third-party controls (infragistics or similar)
• demonstrable experience developing solution architecture.
• leadership experience throughout the software lifecycle
