roles and responsibilities:

• design and implementation of ot network solutions, considering the specific requirements of the production environment
• configuration and optimization of network components such as switches, routers, and firewalls
• monitoring network performance and carrying out network tests and audits as well as ensuring network security
• documenting network topologies, configurations and changes
• collaboration with external service providers and company-wide collaboration with other it and ot product teams

qualifications:

• successfully completed studies in communications engineering, computer science or comparable qualification
• several years of experience as a system engineer in the field of ot networks
• knowledge of network architectures, protocols, standards and technologies (e.g. ethernet, tcp/ip, vlans, vpns, routing protocols, iec-62443)
• experience with industrial network components and technologies as well as knowledge of network security for ot networks
• certifications in cisco and fortinet or similar are an advantage
• business fluent in english
• independent and solution-oriented way of working, excellent communication and teamwork skills in international teams
