about the role:

we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven project manager with strong airline domain experience to lead and deliver strategic projects for our clients in the aviation sector. the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of airline operations, systems, and processes, with a proven track record in project management, client engagement, and cross-functional leadership.


key responsibilities:

  • lead end-to-end delivery of airline domain projects, ensuring scope, timeline, cost, and quality objectives are met
  • engage closely with airline clients to understand business needs, define project scope, and translate them into actionable plans
  • manage project schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies using agile/waterfall or hybrid methodologies
  • coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, qa, business analysts, and third-party vendors
  • monitor and report project progress through regular status updates, dashboards, and stakeholder meetings
  • ensure adherence to compliance, security, and quality standards in all project phases
  • drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices
  • support pre-sales activities such as rfp responses, estimations, and client presentations (as required)


required skills and experience:

  • bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related field; pmp/prince2 certification is a plus
  • 8+ years of total experience, with at least 3-5 years managing projects in the airline or aviation industry
  • strong knowledge of airline systems such as pss (passenger service systems), dcs (departure control systems), revenue management, loyalty systems, or mro (maintenance, repair, and overhaul)
  • hands-on experience in managing enterprise applications, digital transformation, or system integration projects in airline context
  • excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
  • familiarity with tools like ms project, jira, confluence, or similar
  • ability to work in a global delivery model and manage geographically distributed teams


preferred qualifications:

  • prior experience working with tier-1 airline clients or global aviation service providers
  • agile/scrum certification (csm, safe, etc.)
  • exposure to iata standards and airline regulatory frameworks
