job summary:
we are looking for a results-driven project manager with strong agile/scrum expertise to lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycles. the ideal candidate will play a dual role of project manager and scrum master, ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects in alignment with business objectives, scope, and budget.
key responsibilities:
- project leadership: lead and manage projects across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards.
- agile delivery: act as a scrum master to drive agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- stakeholder collaboration: work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and success metrics.
- project tracking: use project management tools (e.g., jira, confluence, tfs) to monitor progress, manage backlogs, and track sprint velocity.
- risk management: identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, and constraints, ensuring adherence to security and compliance guidelines.
- communication: provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders through detailed reports and presentations on project health and performance.
- documentation: create and maintain key project documentation including roadmaps, project plans, risk logs, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
- team collaboration: foster strong collaboration between technical, qa, business analysts, and operations teams to drive project initiatives forward.
required skills & qualifications:
- proven experience as a project manager and/or scrum master in agile environments.
- strong understanding of agile/scrum methodologies, principles, and tools.
- proficient with project management tools like jira, tfs/azure devops, and confluence.
- excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- experience working with cross-functional teams, both technical and business-oriented.
- knowledge of project governance, compliance, and risk management practices.
- pmp, csm, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
preferred qualifications:
- background in software development or technical environments.
- experience with distributed/global teams.
- familiarity with devops practices and tools.
