we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated python + matlab developer to join our team. the ideal candidate will have a strong background in both python and matlab programming with experience in scientific computing, data analysis, algorithm development, and model implementation. this role will support cross-functional teams working on advanced analytics, simulations, and technical solutions across various domains such as engineering, finance, and research.

key responsibilities:

• design, develop, and maintain software applications using python and matlab.

• convert and optimize existing matlab code into python (or vice versa) as needed.

• work closely with data scientists and engineers to implement and deploy data-driven models.

• develop and validate numerical algorithms for simulations, data processing, and automation tasks.

• perform data analysis, visualization, and reporting.

• write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

• participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.

• collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.

required qualifications:

• bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, physics, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in professional software development with python and matlab.

• strong understanding of numerical methods, data structures, and algorithms.

• experience with libraries such as numpy, scipy, pandas, and matlab toolboxes.

• familiarity with source control tools (e.g., git) and collaborative development workflows.
