job summary:
we are looking for a qa engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. the ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in manual and automated testing, and a keen eye for detail.
key responsibilities:
- develop, execute, and maintain test cases, scripts, and plans for manual and automated testing.
- identify, document, and track defects and work closely with developers to resolve them.
- perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality at every stage of the development lifecycle.
- implement test automation frameworks and ci/cd pipeline integration.
- ensure compliance with industry best practices and company standards.
- participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
required skills & qualifications:
experience: 3+ years in software testing (manual and automation).
- proficiency in any of the automation frameworks such as selenium/cypress/playwright.
- strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- experience in any of scripting languages like python/ java/ c#.
- familiarity with ci/cd pipelines, git, and devops practices.
- experience in any one of the api testing using postman, rest-assured, or similar tools.
- knowledge of performance testing (jmeter/ loadrunner) is a plus.
- understanding of agile methodologies (scrum/kanban).
- excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
add-on qualifications:
- istqb or relevant certification is a plus.
- knowledge of database testing (sql/nosql).
