qa analyst (automation testing)

• define, develop, and implement quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and other qa assessments.
• develop automated ios and android native mobile application tests using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• create test plans, test cases, and test data specific to each platform.
• execute manual testing when necessary.
• should have proven experience with automation testing.
• work closely with development teams to design and deliver the architectural changes required to execute test plans.
• use analytics tools such as google analytics to improve quality assurance, integrating this information into testing strategies.
• conduct load/stress testing using tools such as jmeter or loadrunner to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability.
• generate comprehensive test reports summarizing coverage, results, and metrics.
• lead and mentor qa team members.
• experience with aws services related to quality assurance and testing.
• familiarity with both ios and android platforms and their respective testing environments.
• experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (ci/cd) pipelines.
• familiarity with sql databases, restful apis.
• excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with ability to investigate issues on all platforms.
• understanding of code versioning tools like git.
• excellent communication skills: ability to effectively communicate with project owners/managers (po/pm) and developers, both in meetings and through written communication.
• proven quality assurance experience: 4+ years of experience with ios and android native mobile application testing.
