we are growing rapidly and looking for a hands-on qa automation engineer to join our engineering team and help us scale.
responsibilities
- design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, api, and backend testing.
- collaborate closely with product managers and developers to understand requirements and define automation strategies.
- build and maintain automated test scripts that ensure product quality across different modules.
- integrate automated tests into ci/cd pipelines to support frequent and reliable deployments.
- analyze test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to faster resolution of defects.
- evaluate and adopt new testing tools and technologies to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- contribute as an individual contributor without the need for team or people management responsibilities.
requirements
- minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing only-this role is suited for candidates who have worked exclusively on automation without manual testing responsibilities.
- strong experience in building automation frameworks.
- proficiency in programming languages such as python, javascript, or java.
- experience with rest api testing and integrating api validations into automation pipelines.
- familiarity with ci/cd tools like jenkins, github actions, or circleci.
- solid understanding of test design principles, test coverage analysis, and automation strategy.
- hands-on experience working in agile or scrum-based environments.
- experience with tools like jira, testrail, or similar for test and defect management.
must be currently functioning as an individual contributor and not in a team lead or managerial capacity.
