we're building onified.ai - a multi-tenant, multi-app b2b saas platform for manufacturing enterprises. our frontend is based on react native web, and we're seeking a skilled react native mentor who can guide our team through best practices, architecture patterns, and production-quality implementation.
team composition:
- 1 senior frontend developer (react js + basic rn exposure)
- 3 new members, good react js fundamentals
the team is motivated and productive but needs structured mentoring to adopt scalable patterns and avoid early mistakes.
responsibilities:
- guide on react native web structure, layout patterns, componentization, and navigation flows
- conduct weekly code reviews and suggest improvements
- help define best practices for modular design, styling, and performance
- support api integration (java backend) and deployment considerations
- provide real-world insights into common pitfalls and how to avoid them
ideal profile:
- 4+ years of strong hands-on experience in react native
- experience mentoring junior developers or guiding teams
- strong understanding of component-based architecture, flexbox layouts, and responsive ui
- familiarity with integrating rest apis and backend services
- have you used react native to build both web and mobile apps from a single codebase? (react native web experience preferred)
- india-based for better timezone alignment; fluent in english/hindi preferred
- available 5-10 hours per week, ongoing engagement
