job summary
- working hours: india / uk shifts (10 am to 7:30 pm ist / 1 pm to 10:30 pm ist)
- location: chennai, india
- years of experience:8-10 years, of which minimum 5-6 years of hands-on experience with aws.
responsibilies:
- implementing cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on aws.
- responsible for building and maintaining aws based solutions to support a distributed microservices architecture.
- implementing observability tools and services to monitor the application and cloud infrastructure.
- monitor and examine all application, performance, event, and system logs to assist in troubleshooting.
- assisting secure the aws infrastructure with security tools and services.
- working with application teams to build, maintain, and document through confluence the development, testing, staging, and production environments.
technical skills:
- infrastructure as code (iac), ability to work with and design terraform scripts.
- aws administration (networking, security, compute, containers, databases, load balancing, cloud native services)
- security services - waf, network firewall, inspector, security hub, guardduty
- observability services - prometheus, opensearch, grafana
- microservices architecture
- disaster recovery and high-availability strategies
soft skills:
- should have strong communication skills, excellent spoken and written english.
