Job Overview

as a senior data scientist, a person will be responsible for developing and deploying data science models across functional areas. based on business performance and discussions with business partners, identify ml use-cases, prioritise, plan and develop machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions to deliver business impact.

roles & responsibilities: (include but not limited to)

collaborate across functions: engage with various departments to create opportunities for machine learning and data science

project leadership: take ownership of data science projects from ideation to execution, coordinating with business leaders and cross-functional teams and completing the projects.

solution design: architecting scalable and impactful machine learning for business challenges, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.

hands-on development: developing machine learning and ai models using state-of-the-art techniques and technologies, ensuring best practices in model creation.

stakeholder communication: presenting data science insights, model results and recommendations to senior stakeholders

deployment & integration: working with data engineers and platform teams to deploy robust machine learning and ai solutions

performance monitoring: setting up measurement and monitoring frameworks to continuously track, analyse, and enhance model performance.

mentorship & leadership: guide and mentor junior data scientists and data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
