primary responsibilities:
- manage and oversee the it department including all systems, projects and personnel
- develop, design and implement it procedures and policies
- ensure the seamless delivery of it services by monitoring existing system performance
- perform regular audits and software performance reviews to gain insights on current implementations
- manage the it budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented throughout the system
- provide leadership and direction to the it operations department
- stay active with it trends and advancements
- overseeing system maintenance and upgrades
- monitoring network performance
- analyzing, understanding data and reporting metrics.
- developing and implementing disaster recovery plans
experience & qualifications:
mandatory:
- bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- experience with system installation, analysis and configuration
- 5+ years of experience as an it operation manager
- strong leadership, negotiation, organizational and communication skills
- experience dealing with critical issues.
