key responsibilities:

responsible for support and operations of uipath, blue prism, and power platform technology and supporting the application maintenance. deliver the service for the it service management processes, i.e., ensuring the smooth operation of the application. maintain application support processes and check that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures. apply application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and create reports. prioritize and diagnose incidents according to agreed procedures. investigate causes of incidents and seek resolution. facilitate recovery, following resolution of incidents. document and close resolved incidents according to agreed procedures. initiate and monitor. action to investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes, and services. identify problem root-cause analysis and resolution. assist with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures. carry out agreed applications maintenance tasks. "go live" support after the introduction of new solutions. support the processing of service requests. interpret, design, develop, and test new automated solutions to meet business requirements. facilitate development for proof of concepts and continue to evolve as quickly as technology does.


what you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related technical field is required.
  • act as primary owner of all automation code, components, libraries and repositories
  • solid understanding of uipath, blue prism architecture, and up to date on the latest functionality released from microsoft's power platform
  • better understanding of soap and rest api protocols.
  • demonstrated development experience with the blue prism/uipath product & functionality
  • experience in code migration between rpa platforms is an added benefit
  • work closely with the rpa developers, business analysts, and product owners to deliver reusable solutions to reduce overall time to implementation for solutions on both platforms.
  • experience leading the code/component review process for the automation coe, focusing on reusability, adherence to industry standards, and transparency
  • design automation processes as per the operational needs of an organization
  • ensure proper & transparent documentation of automated processes is available for review/audit
  • work with operations team to prioritize automation candidates & assist with the coe governance efforts.
  • collaborate with the ai team to leverage available ai components, and ensure compatibility between ai & automation reusable components exists across the enterprise
  • collaborate with team technical lead to maintain rpa technical infrastructure & test new rpa/ai functionality participate in training pro and citizen developers on automation best practices
  • participate in technical discussions and develop strategies to solve technical challenges
  • mentor rpa developers on coding standards, best practices, tool usage and problem solving
  • plans, conducts and directs the solution design of business processes to be automated with blue prism, & the power platform
  • designs, defines, evaluates, tests, debugs and implements complex system requirements in support of various automation builds with an eye towards developing an accessible, reusable component library for our pro and citizen developer teams.
  • experience with secdevops principles in an agile environment.
