job summary:
we are looking for a results-driven seo executive with 1 year of hands-on experience in both on-page and off-page seo techniques. the ideal candidate should have a good understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, link-building strategies, and content optimization. this role will support our digital marketing efforts to increase search engine visibility and organic traffic.
key responsibilities:
on-page seo:
- conduct keyword research and implement effective keyword placement.
- optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, images, and internal linking.
- perform technical seo audits (e.g., site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawl errors).
- coordinate with content writers to ensure seo best practices are followed in content creation.
- analyze website performance using tools like google analytics and search console.
off-page seo:
- execute link-building strategies through guest posting, directory submissions, profile creations, and outreach.
- build and maintain high-quality backlinks to improve domain authority.
- monitor backlink profiles and disavow toxic links.
- conduct competitor backlink analysis.
- promote content on external platforms to gain visibility and links.
qualifications
- bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or related field
- 1 year of proven seo experience (both on-page & off-page).
- familiarity with seo tools like google search console, ahrefs, semrush, moz, ubersuggest, etc.
- basic understanding of html, css, and website structure.
nice to have:
- experience with wordpress or other cms platforms.
- knowledge of local seo and schema markup.
