we are looking for an experienced software consultant for an internal knowledge management initiative focused on building a rag (retrieval-augmented generation) agent integrated with microsoft copilot and sharepoint , hosted on azure.

• design and develop a retrieval-augmented generation (rag) agent using .net technologies
• integrate solutions with microsoft copilot and sharepoint (online or on-prem)
• deploy, scale, and maintain the application on microsoft azure
• collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand internal knowledge workflows
• conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for client teams
• provide support and perform maintenance under the pre-defined package of hours
• ensure code quality, performance optimization, and security compliance across all deliverables.
• provide technical insights, documentation, and support for project deployment and maintenance.

requirements:

• experience: 4-5 years in software development with a strong focus on .net development
• microsoft sharepoint: deep expertise in developing sharepoint-based solutions (online/on-premise), spfx, workflows, and integration.
• copilot: experience integrating and customizing microsoft copilot features is highly desirable.
• ai integration: understanding and experience with building or integrating rag-based agents using vector databases, llms (like openai, azure openai), and retrieval pipelines.
• cloud: familiarity with azure services related to ai, storage, and identity.
• version control: experience with git, ci/cd workflows.
• soft skills: strong communication, time management, and ability to work independently in a remote setup.

• experience with microsoft graph apis
• exposure to ai/ml services on azure (for context processing, semantic search, etc.)
• previous work in knowledge management or enterprise search implementations
