about the role
we are seeking a skilled backend engineer with strong expertise in nestjs and typescript to join our development team. in this role, you will:
- lead the migration of existing backend services to the cloud, develop new integrations,
- enhance our integrations to api gateway and identity & access management (iam) platforms
- enhance and optimise existing smart contract integrations
- work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices in a cloud-native environment.
key skills needed
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development using nestjs and typescript
- strong experience building and maintaining cloud-native microservices
- hands-on experience with google cloud platform (gcp) and its services
- exposure to iam platforms such as forgerock, ping identity, or similar
- proficiency in building scalable apis and integrating with third-party services
- any experience with blockchain or integrations to smart contracts is a plus
- experience working in ci/cd environments and with containerised workloads (e.g., docker, kubernetes)
