aracion is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented test engineer to join our wireless test division. in this role, you will be responsible for executing and validating test cases for lte and 5g oran/ran radios in compliance with 3gpp standards, supporting product certification, regulatory approvals, and carrier validation.
you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality assurance, interoperability, and performance validation using leading-edge test platforms.
key responsibilities
- perform rf, rrm, and protocol testing of lte / 5g (fr1/fr2) base stations as per 3gpp test specifications (e.g., ts 38.141).
- conduct interoperability and conformance tests on oran distributed units (du), central units (cu), and radio units (ru).
- execute test plans using advanced tools (e.g., keysight, rohde & schwarz, viavi) and debug issues with test logs.
- support ota and conducted testing, including throughput, mobility, and regression test cases.
- collaborate with r&d, validation teams, and network vendors for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- document and report test results in alignment with regulatory and internal standards.
required skills & experience
- b.e/b.tech or m.e/m.tech in electronics, telecommunications, or related field.
- 2-6 years of experience in rf/protocol testing for lte/5g networks.
- solid understanding of 3gpp 36/38 series standards and oran architecture.
- hands-on experience with test equipment and test automation frameworks.
- familiarity with lab test environments (shielded chambers, catr setups, signal generators, spectrum analyzers).
- experience in log analysis (qxdm, wireshark, etc.) is a plus.
