job description:
we are seeking a skilled and passionate ux designer with 2 years of professional experience in creating user-centric designs for web and mobile platforms. the ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of design principles, usability practices, and an eye for detail. the candidate will ensure the delivery of seamless user experiences through research, ideation, prototyping, and testing.
roles and responsibilities:
- develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mock-ups to communicate design ideas effectively.
- conduct user research to understand user behavior, preferences, and needs, and translate findings into actionable design solutions.
- perform competitor analysis and usability testing to validate and refine design concepts.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing, to ensure alignment on user experience goals.
- design and maintain consistent ux patterns, components, and style guides across products.
- optimize designs for responsiveness and accessibility across devices and platforms.
- present and justify design decisions to stakeholders, articulating the value of user-focused design solutions.
- monitor and iterate on designs based on feedback and evolving requirements.
skills and requirements:
- a strong portfolio showcasing ux design work for web and mobile platforms.
- proficiency in ux tools such as figma, adobe xd, sketch, invision, axure, or similar.
- understanding of usability heuristics, user-centered design principles, and design thinking methodology.
- strong knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and user testing tools.
- basic understanding of front-end technologies (html5, css3, javascript) is a plus.
- experience conducting user research and usability testing, and synthesizing feedback into actionable insights.
- ability to create personas, user stories, journey maps, and other artifacts to inform design decisions.
- effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and articulate design ideas.
- familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design best practices.
- a proactive approach to problem-solving, with excellent time-management and multitasking abilities.
experience:
- minimum 2 years of professional experience as a ux designer or in a similar role.
preferred tools:
- figma, adobe xd, sketch, axure, invision, and tools for user research and testing.
additional skills :
- animation and interaction design experience (after effects or similar tools).
- knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
