we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented wordpress developer to join our development team. the ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining wordpress websites, with a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, plugins, themes, and performance optimization.
key responsibilities:
- develop and maintain responsive, seo-friendly wordpress websites
- customize wordpress themes and plugins according to client requirements
- build custom themes and plugins from scratch when needed
- expertise in wp plugin integration (woocommerce, wpml, membership plugins etc).
- implement website updates, security patches, and performance optimizations
- collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions
- ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- integrate third-party apis and services as required
- troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
required skills & qualifications:
- proficiency in wordpress, php, mysql, html5, css3, javascript, and jquery
- experience with page builders like elementor, wpbakery, or gutenberg
- strong knowledge of custom post types, taxonomies, and wordpress apis
- familiarity with version control systems like git
- understanding of website performance optimization (caching, cdn, image optimization)
