we are looking for a full-stack developer with strong expertise in wordpress development. you will play a key role in building custom websites, developing backend logic, managing api integrations, and ensuring smooth performance across both the front end and back end. this role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving problems, writing clean and scalable code, and collaborating closely with designers and strategists to bring digital experiences to life.
what you'll do
- build, customize, and maintain wordpress and woocommerce websites, including both front-end themes and back-end functionality
- write custom php code to develop plugins, modules, and unique site features
- handle database management, optimize queries, and work with mysql for smooth backend performance
- integrate third-party apis and external services into client websites
- collaborate with the design and strategy teams to turn mockups and wireframes into fully functional digital experiences
- troubleshoot issues, perform site migrations, and ensure cross-browser and device compatibility
- follow secure coding practices and ensure site speed, seo, and scalability are maintained
what we're looking for
- 2-4 years of experience as a full-stack developer, with a strong focus on wordpress
- proficiency in php, mysql, javascript, html, css, and wordpress architecture
- experience with api integrations, custom post types, and backend logic development
- strong understanding of database design and optimization
- familiarity with git or other version control systems
- detail-oriented, with the ability to write clean, secure, and scalable code
- experience in an agency or client-service environment is a plus
