The Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or Senior Electrophysics Engr/Science (Electromagnetic Compatibility) for the team located in Ridley Park, PA or Berkeley, MO

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and validates E3 requirements for various complex communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components. Develops and validates electromagnetic requirements for electricallectronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures.
  • Develops architectures to integrate complex systems and components into higher level systems and platforms while ensuring compatibility.
  • Performs trade studies, supported by modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements.
  • Defines and conducts critical tests of various kinds to validate performance of designs to requirements.
  • Manages appropriate aspects of critical supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements.
  • Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle from manufacturing to customer use by providing guidance and support to resolve complex issues. Supports project management by providing coordinating development of work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and conducting appropriate reviews.
  • Works under minimal direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Level 4: 9+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • Level 5: 14+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems role
  • Experience developing or integrating avionics or mission systems
  • Experience in Agile Software Development and JIRA
  • Experience in performing simulation and analysis for electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC) engineering
  • Experience addressing identified electromagnetic interference instances using CONOPS, software and/or hardware-based solutions
  • Experience analyzing/simulating electromagnetic propagation and antenna performance when integrated on advanced aircraft.

Typical Education/Experience:

Description

The Transmission & Distribution group is responsible for the planning and design of electrical transmission projects in power delivery, including overhead transmission, underground transmission, distribution systems, substation design, telecommunication & network engineering, pipelines, renewable power integration, security, grid modernization and more.

The Assistant Electrical Engineer will assist project teams to create world class designs for new projects, alterations and redevelopments on a variety of projects including power, process, corporate, healthcare, airports, institutional, industrial, manufacturing, government and military facilities. The Assistant Electrical Engineer will work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting electrical plans according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs.

  • Assists in the electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion.

  • Assists with modifying and reviewing production drawings for a variety of projects including, but not limited to: power plants, process facilities, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities, airports, educational institutions, commercial, and governmental and military facilities.

Case Manager (Children's Health and Social Safety Net Initiative)

Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan & Ulster, is looking for a part-time Case Manager in their CHASSI program. CHASSI is the Children's Healthy and Social Safety Net Initiative.

The hourly rate for the position is $23.00./hour. This position does not come with benefits.

Summary:

This position provides direct case management services to the needy and disenfranchised in Orange and Sullivan County. It is expected that this will be accomplished through advocacy, providing information, referral, and short-term case management. The position will work in a collaborative manner connecting Social Safety Net Services with our Substance Use Disorder Departments and Prevention Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned. 1. Conduct initial intake utilizing Apricot platform database system. 2. Actively participate in system-wide data sharing through integrated digital referral systems (Unite Us) or other means. 3. Utilizes basic Substance Use Disorder Assessments, brief bio-psychosocial intake to ensure all needs are identified comprehensively. Provide education to the client and family system regarding adverse childhood effects, effects on the fetus when drug use or alcohol use is use by the mother and present in the household and collaborate with the SUD clinician to provide comprehensive wrap around services. 4. Prioritize intakes and ensure warm handoffs throughout the CCOSU system and community partners. Ensuring all intake, screen tools and notes are completed thoroughly and timely. 5. Attends the Parent-Child Program training and develop service delivery with efficacy. 6. Is a part of an interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure all participants in the program have the full benefit of CCOSU resources available to them. 7. Maintains current and accurate documentation of services provided to clients. 8. Answers telephones and provides information needed. 9. Develops and maintains working relationships with providers in Orange and Sullivan Counties. 10. Attend community and service provider meetings 11. Maintain an updated Community Resource list / guide to utilize as a referral source for client who needs them. 12. Participate in outreach activities on the weekend and after-hours such as community tabling events, pop up pantry, food pantry outreach and other case management activities. 13. Provide community outreach to ensure access to the program and community education regarding services regarding determinants of health. 14. Participates in regular supervisory sessions with immediate supervisor. 15. Attends Agency's in-service training, case conferences and formalized coaching from the Parent-Child Program. 16. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a part-time position. The hours of work are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday - Friday. This position requires the candidate to work 3 days per week or a total of 18 hours per week. We can be flexible with weekly schedule but needs to be discussed prior to hiring and accepting the position. (It needs to be agreed by both parties). Reports to Monticello campus. This position requires the candidate to travel to multiple sites.

The Mechanical Engineer (Matching Networks) is a primary technical resource for the field Applications and Sales force, responsible for actively driving and managing the technology development stage of the sales process. Experience
  • Experience of 2+ years in similar engineering positions

  • Perform highly complex and diverse design, plans, analysis, and implementation of networks. Commercial Technologies manages the enterprise's portfolio of commercial technologies to maximize the business value of the technologies and enhance customer experience. This function creates strategies for the portfolio and innovative solutions based on relationships with business leaders, develops back-end solutions and capabilities, and improves the front-end experience.

Commercial Technologies Software Engineering develops design options, process improvements and back-end solutions for commercial technologies to maximize performance and suitability for business needs. This job family manages engineering projects and plans for commercial technologies and interfaces with product managers to develop objectives. This job family assesses product systems, identifies opportunities for process and system improvements, and develops solutions through application of engineering principles.

The Implementation team is part of many diverse and dependent workstreams that enable and support client program implementations for Sonexus Patient and Access Support Services on a customized Salesforce Platform and hybrid solutions. This role will be a full stack .NET developer within the implementation team, this team will have applications that interface with salesforce and other COTS products we support.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve business objectives.

  • Plans and executes software and system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.

  • Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.

  • Analyze production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change to ensure continuous improvement in system stability and performance.

  • Provide technical guidance to managed service partners.

  • Participate in code and design planning/reviews to ensure industry standards and best practices are being met

  • Design & customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience

  • Analyze the value and risks of technology to advise and suggest actions

  • Ensure aligned objectives and execution across internal stakeholders to create mutually beneficial partnerships to identify areas of growth and innovation

  • Advise on short and long term technology and growth planning

  • Ensure product and services are compliant with company's policies

  • Must be able to define tasks, milestones, and deliverables that meet stated project objectives

  • Independently determines method for completion of new projects

  • Excellent communication, analytical presentation skills, problem solving skills and learning attitude

  • Reference architectures and standards definition to guide implementation teams and promote standardization, and enterprise reuse where applicable

  • Partner with implementation teams on selecting the appropriate solution components that align with team standards while also meeting the requirements of the program

  • Partner with shared service teams such as Risk and Security to ensure systems are secure and proper controls are implemented

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex functional and technical issues

  • Provide end-to-end views on how all components fit together

  • "Connecting dots" across various business and technology areas

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Experience in Angular, .net/c#, azure, SQL programming, MongoDB, logicapps, kafka, Camunda, Apigee, swagger, postman.

  • Experience with Salesforce development is a plus

  • Experience in designing, building, deploying, managing, and enhancing applications within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including requirement analysis and system design, and/or software engineering principles

  • Experience in Agile development

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Concourse, Jenkins

  • Working experience translating business objectives into technology plans

  • Strong understanding of infrastructure platforms such as operating systems, databases, application servers, cloud.

  • Strong understanding of industry trends and relevant emerging technologies

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users across various domains.

  • Perspectives on industry-wide best-practices

  • Experience in Healthcare industry a plus

  • Experience in data analytics and/or data science a plus

  • Enterprise or Solution Architecture experience a plus
