Role Description

(Paid Internship)

This is an on-site internship role for a Blockchain Developer, located in New Delhi. The intern will assist with developing and maintaining blockchain-based applications, ensuring the security and integrity of blockchain networks, and implementing cryptographic solutions. The intern will also contribute to back-end web development and help debug and optimize blockchain software.

Qualifications

• Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and Cryptography skills
• Back-End Web Development and Software Development experience
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
• Knowledge of decentralized technologies is a plus
• Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

This project focuses on building and deploying proprietary trading algorithms on centralized exchanges. Developers will work closely with the management team to translate mathematical models into trading systems and maintain connectivity with global exchanges.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement algorithmic trading strategies on CEXs (Binance, OKX, Deribit and more)

Ensure low-latency execution, high accuracy, and risk management

Optimize order placement, arbitrage, and execution logic

Talent Requirements:

CEX Trading Developers: Deep understanding of market microstructure and order book dynamics; proficiency in Python, C++, or Java; experience with FIX/REST/WebSocket APIs; comfortable with high-performance computing and data feeds

Quant Analysts / Strategists: Strong mathematical/statistical background (preferably in HFT/Algo trading); ability to work with the management to formalize strategy and backtest logic

Requirements

As a Blockchain / DLT Developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritizing and resolving complex problems, and escalating as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop blockchain-based applications, smart contracts, and decentralized protocols to address specific business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for implementing blockchain and distributed ledger technology in various domains, such as finance, supply chain, healthcare, and more.
• Implement and maintain blockchain networks, nodes, and consensus algorithms to ensure data integrity, security, and decentralization.
• Work on blockchain interoperability, scalability, and performance optimization to support high-throughput, low-latency applications.
• Conduct research and development on emerging blockchain technologies, platforms, and protocols to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for blockchain and DLT implementations, such as data privacy and security regulations.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality, reliable blockchain applications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders on blockchain and DLT-related topics.
• Build high-quality, low-latency blockchain applications capable of handling large volumes of transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of proven experience in developing blockchain-based applications and smart contracts using platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, Cosmos, or other blockchain frameworks.
• Strong understanding of decentralized consensus algorithms, cryptography, and data structures used in blockchain and DLT systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in blockchain development, such as Solidity, Go, Java, or Rust.
• Familiarity with blockchain development tools, libraries, and frameworks for building and testing decentralized applications.
• Knowledge of blockchain security best practices, cryptography, and secure coding principles.
• Experience with tokenization, token standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-721), and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols is advantageous.
• Understanding of blockchain scalability, interoperability, and performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to address complex challenges in blockchain development.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with strong expertise in NestJS and TypeScript to join our development team. In this role, you will:

• Lead the migration of existing backend services to the cloud, develop new integrations,
• enhance our integrations to API Gateway and Identity & Access Management (IAM) platforms
• Enhance and optimise existing smart contract integrations
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices in a cloud-native environment.

Key Skills Needed

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development using NestJS and TypeScript
• Strong experience building and maintaining cloud-native microservices
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services
• Exposure to IAM platforms such as ForgeRock, Ping Identity, or similar
• Proficiency in building scalable APIs and integrating with third-party services
• Any experience with Blockchain or integrations to smart contracts is a plus
• Experience working in CI/CD environments and with containerised workloads (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
