position summary:
the accounts payable staff accountant will support the accounting team with various day-to-day functions. assist with reporting as directed by the controller, while supporting senior accountant. this position will also support the functions of the accounting department to meet the requirements of the relevant iso 9001:2015 standards based on the quality objectives established by top management.
essential duties and responsibilities:
- perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
- match vendor invoices to goods receipts and packing slips.
- monitor and record employee expense reimbursements.
- record transactions associated with related foreign companies.
- assist sales team recording third party web sales and reconcile incoming payments.
- prepare monthly/quarterly vat reports and foreign company purchase invoices.
- assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- other accounting projects as assigned.
- meet required iso 9001:2015 standards and necessary training based on the relevant quality objectives.

- solid understanding of accounting concepts.

preferred qualifications:
- bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
