responsibilities: - preparing estimates, submittals, change orders, and rfi's, to streamline ongoing projects. - assist in managing current workload and maintaining construction schedules. - assemble, organize, and maintain documentation needed for timely project closeout activities. - professional communication to owners, clients, engineers, etc. involved in ongoing projects. - support safety program policies, procedures, and compliance. requirements skills and experience: we are looking for a motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills, and a willingness to grow into a project manager role in the construction industry. the ideal candidate will maintain a great sense of pride in his or her work, along with professional communication and attention to detail. specific requirements are listed below: - proficient in the use of computerized systems, including outlook, excel, adobe, word, etc. - familiar with project management software and estimating software is a plus. - osha 10 certification required, osha 30 certification preferred. - ability to meet deadlines and bid dates with a positive attitude. - ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others. - strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. - strong written and verbal communication skills. - valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. minimum requirements: - two-year degree in a related field such as construction management, construction technology, etc. four-year degree preferred. - some field experience preferred. - knowledge and understanding of architectural, mechanical, and general construction techniques.
