position summary

we are seeking a detail-oriented associate chemist to support the production of veterinary products. this role involves assisting with chemical synthesis and purification processes while following standard operating procedures (sops). the ideal candidate has a background in chemistry and is eager to grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

key responsibilities

• assist in chemical synthesis and purification of raw materials, intermediates, and final products
• support lab operations, including cleaning glassware and preparing equipment
• maintain accurate batch records and documentation
• work with the team to set up and transition production areas
• follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• learn and assist with operating specialized equipment such as gloveboxes or schlenk lines
• perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods

key responsibilities

• bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field
• 1+ years of hands-on lab or production experience required
• 1+ years of industry organic synthesis experience in a air-free manipulation and storage (i.e. schlenk line and inert atmosphere glovebox).
• ability to follow and interpret technical protocols, sops and safety protocols
• willingness to learn new equipment and procedures
• attention to detail and strong documentation habits
• able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
