responsibilities - assists with and perform hydrologic and hydraulic design calculations for stormwater management systems and/or bridge hydraulic and floodplain studies, prepare sketches, technical comparisons, and similar technical work as required
- assists with planning, scheduling, and coordinating design work with the group
- review plans, details and prepare or review technical specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates.
- support and coordinate with highway, structural, and geotechnical engineer design teams and perform other duties as assigned
requirements: - bs in civil engineering
- detailed-oriented, self-starter comfortable working in a team environment
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong math skills and proficiency in microsoft word and excel
- experience with any of hec-ras, hy-8, srh-2d, hydrocad, autodesk storm and sanitary analysis, microstation (including inroads), autocad civil 3d (preferred)
- familiarity with fhwa, usace, and aashto design guidance is desirable
- fe/eit (preferred)
