we are seeking a skilled and experienced concrete lead / foreman to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our concrete construction projects. the ideal candidate will have a solid background in concrete work and proven leadership and project management abilities. this is a hands-on leadership role requiring a balance of field supervision, technical expertise, and people management.

key responsibilities

• supervise and direct concrete crews on construction sites.

• plan, schedule, and manage daily operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

• oversee the use and maintenance of equipment, materials, and tools on site.

• ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and company standards.

• read and interpret blueprints, elevation plans, and scoping documents.

• set elevations and grades accurately and efficiently.

• act as the primary point of contact between crew members, project managers, and other site personnel.

• maintain accurate job records and provide progress updates to stakeholders.

• foster a safe and productive work environment.

required qualifications

• significant experience in concrete construction and finishing, including ramps, sidewalks, patios, and curbs.

• demonstrated experience in supervising crews and managing construction projects.

• proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, project plans, and scope documents.

• skilled in setting elevations and grades with precision.

• strong leadership and communication skills; able to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• ability to pass a background check.

• completion of specialized safety training (osha 10/30 or equivalent) is preferred.

preferred qualifications

• experience managing multiple crews and large-scale projects.

• familiarity with various types of concrete finishes and surface treatments.

• bilingual proficiency (english/spanish) is a plus.
