based in cypress, tx travel across east & south texas love sports, travel, and working with people? join our team of event sales representatives and be part of the action! this is a 1099 independent contractor position, perfect for earning extra income on weekends. you'll set up branded pop-up shops at sporting and community events, sell custom apparel, and create a great experience for attendees. perfect for students looking for some weekend work what you'll do travel to event sites (local + regional, sometimes overnight) load/unload apparel at our cypress, tx warehouse before and after events set up and operate a branded apparel booth at indoor and outdoor events sell official event merchandise and maximize sales opportunities provide excellent customer service while representing our brand pack up booth and return merchandise after each event requirements 18+ years old and legally able to work in the usa valid driver's license and reliable transportation to cypress, tx available most weekends (saturday/sunday; occasional fridays) ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods proficient in english willing to travel (usually 2-3 hours, some trips up to 6 hours) and stay overnight as needed (company covers accommodations + provides vehicles for events) pay structure training (first 2 weekends): $100 per selling day after training: indoor events $200/day minimum or 8% of net sales (whichever is higher) outdoor events $220/day minimum or 8% of net sales (whichever is higher) travel: $0.10/mile (after 60 miles from cypress office) + gas reimbursement hotels + event vehicles provided paid biweekly seasonal schedule busy season (oct-may): events most weekends slow season (jun-sep): about once every 3-6 weeks must be available for the full event duration once scheduled how to apply email with: your name availability a brief background
