position overview

the foreman/foreperson serves as the on-site leader and point of contact for modular home construction teams, managing daily operations on the production floor as well as installation sites. this role is responsible for crew supervision, workflow planning, ensuring quality standards, enforcing safety protocols, and coordinating with management to deliver high-quality modular homes on schedule.

  supervise, motivate, and coordinate carpenters, framers, and other crew members on shift

  review and interpret project blueprints, schedules, and modular construction plans

  plan and assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure productivity benchmarks are met

  inspect work throughout production and before shipping to verify structural quality and adherence to design

  train and mentor team members on proper use of tools, safety standards, and best practices

  act as the primary point of contact for logistics, materials delivery, scheduling, and issue resolution on site

  conduct regular safety meetings and enforce osha and company safety guidelines

  maintain accurate records and provide updates to supervisors and project managers

position requirements

  proven leadership experience as a foreman, supervisor, or lead in a construction or modular home environment

  deep understanding of modular building methods, framing, carpentry, and factory-based production

  ability to read and communicate construction plans and specifications clearly

  strong supervision, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  skilled in quality control, safe tool operation, and enforce health/safety standards

  reliable, punctual, and able to work and lead in a fast-paced environment

compensation & benefits

  $35-$45/hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications
