summary of the position: being of service to maintain a clean, safe and well-groomed facility for all guests and team members and to assist with projects both interior and exterior of the building.
key accountabilities:
- responsible for maintaining cleanliness of facility.
- communicates effectively with team members to efficiently complete projects.
- maintains cleanliness of tables, surrounding chairs, floors, restrooms, windows and other areas of the building.
- maintains exterior of building, both cleanliness and safety.
- maintains a timely execution of duties and remains positive and self-motivated when tasked with new duties.
- notifying management of occurring deficiencies, needs and repairs
- assist team in upkeep of restrooms.
- assists other service personnel as needed.
- performs all duties in accordance with the family of companies and pelican customer service standard and exemplifies core values in their job duties.
- maintains general knowledge and provides information to guests of pelican menu items, events, community involvement.
requirements:
general knowledge of customer service standards
physical endurance to handle heavy machinery and to complete tasks
positive and self-motivated
able to complete tasks independently
ability to communicate with team members regarding health, safety or cleanliness concerns
compensation details: 16-16 hourly wage
