requirements and qualifications:
1. min 2yrs experience in maintenance
2. knowledge of basic shop practices/safe working habits
3. basic electrical systems operation knowledge
4. knowledge of basic hydraulic systems
5. blueprint and schematic reading ability
6. must be committed to accuracy and extreme detail in all maintenance tasks
7. physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
8. able to work well with minimal supervision

duties and responsibilities:
1. operate preventative maintenance program for all fabrication equipment and facilities
2. perform any safety related repairs on the facility and equipment
3. responsible for the upkeep of the facilities and the grounds including snow removal
4. diagnose, update, troubleshoot, and repair all fabrication equipment
5. ensure and adhere to safe work practices and procedures including, but not limited to lockout/tag out and confined space rules and regulations.
6. assist in the installation of new equipment and removal of old equipment
7. repair or replace all faulty hand/power tools as necessary
8. adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
9. maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
10. respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
11. perform minor building, hvac, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary
12. other tasks as assigned
